Note Second Lieutenant Bagnall was born at Hoe, Norfolk, 13th February 1887, the son of George Bagnall of Hoe Hall, East Dereham. He was educated at Charterhouse & Pembroke College, Cambridge and became a solicitor in Oxford Street, London. He joined the 10th Battalion Royal Fusiliers in September 1914 and was killed in action 23rd April 1917.
